TVtrip Celebrates its 1000th hotel filmed!

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

The TVtrip team proudly announces we have reached the milestone of 1000 hotels. I, TVtrip’s resident “Anglais en formation” and newest recruit, Dan Meththananda, interviewed Vanessa Burgain. Miss Burgain is our Video Product Manager and recently celebrated her birthday at the Tvtrip offices.

How do you feel now there’s 1000 hotels working with TVtrip?

Vanessa Burgain “Its a fantastic achievement, it’s the best birthday present I could ask for!”

What was the hardest thing about this target?

VB: “Perhaps, the speed at which we worked to get so many hotels. Getting a thousand hotels over 2 years would have been easy, we did it in a few months! Of course, I didn’t do it alone, we wouldn’t be anywhere without my “Dream Team”, Vanessa Gaté and Flora Jacomino, who have worked so hard for this achievement.

So what was crucial in reaching this momentous milestone?

VB: “Being persistent yet also patient and understanding to our hotels”.

Congratulations to Vanessa and her Dream Team, and here’s to 1000 more hotels on TVtrip!

We are delighted to announce that TVtrip has been chosen as one of 20 finalists for the European Start-Ups Rally, a competition for the most exciting internet start-ups in Europe. The competition is taking place at Plugg, a one day conference for start-ups in the Web/Mobile 2.0 field taking place in Brussels on 19 March 2008. According to the competition’s organizers:

“The quantity and quality of registered start-ups has been simply amazing … we received no less than 66 submissions from very exciting start-ups coming from all over Europe. In fact, we achieved what we were aiming for: getting start-ups from all over the continent to enter the competition. We received profiles from 18 different countries, which is really a sign that a lot is happening in Europe and the entrepreneurs doing it are ready to show it to the world.”
