hotel very good but dinner menu limited.restaurants in surrounding area for dinner very few and what is available very expensive.snack type restaurants for lunch are in abundance

It looked a lot better than it was. The gym existed, but most of the machines were tatty and broken. They said they provided safe deposit boxes but didn't have enough for all guests who wanted them. The breakfast buffet was not replenished, so if you were late, your choice was limited. The staff just didn't seem to care quite enough to provide the difference between good and very average service.

Excellent resturant, good food & service. The bedroom I occupied overlooked the pool, as a result there was some traffic noise. Being on the 7th floor I found the lifts a bit frustrating on times. There are a number of facilities close by and most of the Sights of Washington are within walking distance, whilst the metro station is only a couple of blocks away. I would highly recomend this hotel for a City break.

The restaurant wine list was a joke. The restaurant also could not provide a steak knife and was over priced compared to others in town. I suspect that my bag was gone through and I definitely had a set of nail clippers lifted.

Location was good. Close to some good eating places. One thing though I thought they could improve on was instructions for getting around. It wasn't until the second last day that we realised that a lot of cafe's and restaurants were just around the corner. I also found that the service in the restaurant could have been improved on.

The room, 518, was unusually large. The hotel is showing its age, but is a very good business class hotel. The only drawback was being overcharged for parking. All the literature quoted $15 per night parking, but we were charged $23.
