We enjoyed our stay at the Sleep Inn in Shady Grove. The rooms are small, but well appointed, very clean, and comfortable. Do be warned that if you are a bath person or have small children that none of the rooms are equipped with bath tubs and all have shower stalls. On a positive note, the shower stalls were large and nice. It is about 2 miles to the local Metro station, so be prepared to either use the hotel's shuttle to the station or pay the parking fee at the Metro parking lot. There are no nearby restaurants, but about five minutes away in local Gaithersburg there is a good variety of restaurants and shopping. The price we got was outstanding, so we were very pleased with our experience.
