We arrived late (by the time you get through Wasinhgton's traffic) and only had 2 nights and did not get to use the facilities very much, but saw what was on offer. If we ever get back to Washington, as is our hope, we would be very happy to stay at the OMNI SHOREHAM

Hotel was great! Room was large and had a nice view. Location was perfect for us! Slightly shabby elegance in the lobby (furniture,) but comfy. Character - we like that! Mixup with luggage almost caused us to miss our plane, but the hotel got our bags there as fast as they could and all was fine in the end. Would stay there again at the reasonable rate we got.

This is a high quality hotel in an excellent location, with Woodley Park, the Zoo and a range of excellent restaurants in walking distance. The Metro station to downtown Washington is one block away and taxis are on stand-by 24 hours. All the services for a hotel of this rating are provided and in-house charges are reasonable. The service is courteous, helpful and efficient. I would happily recommend the Omni Shoreham as a base for a visit to Washington DC.

Although the hotel was good in all respects, on one day which I know was fully booked and busy, the cleaning personnel left a bottle of bathroom cleaner in our bathroom. With respect to the bathroom, I would have preferred an additional table or platform to place my personnel toiletries. Overall, the hotel was good and a pleasant experience.

When I walked into the hotel lobby I was impressed with the elegence and cleanliness, I knew I was in a grand hotel. The service was friendly and efficient. I was very happy with the choice I had made.

Nice hotel. Right around the corner from Metro stop. Great neighborhood with lots of restaurants. Large room, much larger than average. Service just average and annoying to have to pay for gym facilities. Expensive parking. Nice pool. Room service was great but hotel brunch was less than expected from such a nice restaurant.

We were very happy with the hotel and our stay for three nights was in a classic room which was very large (we had an upgrade certificate for this room; we did not see the standard room). Not a suite but a separate sitting area with sofa, table and chair. Comfortable and clean. Location was perfect for us. Walk to metro. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The hotel is very busy though--it seems to host large conventions and the liike.

The service of reception is quite fine. I had a reservation problem but all paid much attention to it. Now One issue was that they did not deal with pre-paid booking though your system and therefore they could not trace back quickly. Otherwise fine and reasonable. A door man and other staff were also kind and comfortable enough.

Excellent value, if reserved through this website. In a beautiful historic neighbourhood, only bridge away from Washington's Embassy District. Surrounded by acres of natural park, yet 5 minutes from trendy and ethnic restaurants. Grand lobby, comfortable quiet and spacious rooms. On the weekends you can even find free parking on the opposite site of the street.
