Considerable traffic noise on the side of the building we were on. Breakfast items are limited and some items ran out an hour or more before the end of the breakfast serving time.

Everything was OK, however there have been a couple of situations where I was ignored by a manager when I wanted to ask a question simply because I was standing in front of the casher desk and not the information desk. That was very unpleasant. I was standing there for a few minutes waiting for somebody to turn around and ask if I need assistance however the manager and the employee just continued to talk. That should never happen in a quality hotel I expected ATLAS to be. Customers are apparently not the first priority. Room service entered my room despite the fact that I have left a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door handle. I didn’t like the policy of leaving my room key at the reception. That is very unsafe. The first time I left the hotel I left the key at the reception. Upon my return I have mistakenly asked for a wrong key (I simply forgot my room number), and the key was given to me without any checking or signatures or anything. That is unacceptable. Such horrendous hotel policies should never be implemented. I felt very insecure and I had to recheck all my baggage and paperwork. Also I tried to follow the hotel instructions on how to call reception and every time I ended up calling another room. The baggage service (locked room in which I can lock my baggage for time period after I checked out) was unsafe. Everybody’s baggage was in one room and there was no way to keep track whose baggage is whose. Upon pick up the hotel employee just opened the room and assumed we would take our baggage only. Once again: bad hotel policy. Apart from that rooms were very clean, breakfast was very good, location was great, and most of the time employees were helpful. I would not stay in this hotel again.

The Atlas hotel is only a hotel during July and August. The rest of the time it is a student residence for the university. The rooms were Noisy. Our Shower didn't work and took 3 days (mid summer temp=36C) to be repaired.
