Very large ornate room. Helpful staff. Located next to a restaurant/bar called Shooters, which had very good and reasonably priced food.

My first visit to Vienna and I was lucky to stay at the Atlanta Hotel where the customer service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and they actually enjoyed helping their guests. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will certainly be returning.

The hotel is convenient for the regular tram service and therefore the city centre. Although some facilities that we take for granted at home (eg tea and coffee making) are lacking it very clean and within easy reach of the city centre. Shooters bar next door is very popular and serves good food at reasonable prices.

Very small room with no remote on TV, shower not bath (and problems with hot water at odd hours), no box of tissues provided, bar connected to hotel playing loud music on Friday/Saturday nights past 1am (and must ring porter to enter after 1am). But building itself is old-fashioned beautiful, and personnel are very helpful. You get what you pay for.

Easy access to Vienna's excellent transport system. Excellent sound-proofing from external noise (it is on quite a busy street). However, no air conditioning; this may be a problem in summer, since it was quite warm when I was there in late April. The showers are small and not very user-friendly. I believe the four-star rating of the hotel is inaccurate; three-star would be more appropriate.
