We came to Verona for the opera and for us the hotel was too far away from the centre of the town. We arrived by train. If you come by car than it is no problem. You could not walk to the centre because you could not cross the highway. We could have taken a bus to the station and than walk to the centre for about twenty minuts, but we asked at the reception where the stop was when we checked in, but we could not find the nearest stop. They did not explain very well where the stop should have been and we never saw a bus passing by. So we had to spent a lot of money for taking a taxi every time we had to go to the centre of town. We stayed two nights so we took 6 times a taxi and we paid about 10 euro per drive.
