This place is in need of bleach to rid the mildew in the bathroom which is incredibly small and inconvenient. A shoddy place for an exhorbitant price.

This hotel is in a great location in the since that is a short walk to San Marco square and the water bus is just around the corner. The only thing bad about this hotel is that if you book it and the main part of the hotel is full they may put you in the New Part which is not so new but looks like a converted house. The rooms in this part are dark and the breakfast room look a little tired. The New Part is in need of some work, even the main part of the hotel could use some work on the bathrooms. Even in the main hotel the breakfest room is small and if there are alot of guest there is not much room. In my opinion your paying for the location and not for much more.

It's a nice and quiet hotel. This is in the city, nearly to St Mark's square. The service was very good.

Room was very very warm (and our stay was in March), the heating did not seem to be adjustable. Location was a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday evenings. Location very close to the main attractions and just off the Grand Canal.

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and the breakfast serviced to your room for no extra cost was great. The only complaint we had was we had to carry our bags up 6 flights of stairs as there was no lift, besides that all was goood.

This hotel was greatly over priced for what they actually provided. We checked in to the Loby only to find a porter then took our bags to a seperate building down a dingy back street where our room was located. The hotel atmosphere was very gloomy. The decor in the hotel was horrible, faded green, faded cracked plaster work, dirty floors and a constant smell of chlorine throughout the place. My advice would be DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Floor needed to be cleaned under the bed. Very good location. Staff had a bad time to clean the hotel, vacume the hotel in the late evening when trying to sleep. Hotel was a bit noisy but had a very enjoyable stay

Breakfast room was too small for the amount of guests - but they did offer room service for free to try and alleviate that. Room 318 was not a double room, two single beds put together - and the bathroom was grungy with mozaic type tiling with ancient grouting, hole in the floor for plug and shower curtain. (they said it was being renovated next week - but they are still renting it out ????) But the second room we got was in line with what we were paying. Reception was friendly.

Despite having our booking confirmed months before, we had to move rooms after 3 nights. The first, a 'superior' room in the annexe, was fine but the second (standard) room in the main hotel was only just acceptable (nowhere to put a suitcase, grubby carpet, broken fixtures, unclean shower unit). However the bedding and towels were clean and the bed was comfortable

You can walk to most places from it. Don't bring the Kids or a big suitcase.
