Excellent staff. The room is very comfortable and clean and is very well located. If you wold like to know Murano ask the hotel staff, they provide for free.

Really impressed. They offered excellent tourist information, including cut-price gondola! My wife is taking her mother there, and she will definitely stay in the same hotel again

Excellent location for the sights, fairly easy to find. Our room No1 was out the back of the main hotel down a dark alleyway. You had to press a button so that reception could open the door for you. The room and shower/bathroom was on the small size, but was clean and adequate for our three night stay,[no views from windows]. Breakfast was served in the main hotel, small eating area expect to wait if hotel is busy.

Excellent location for a very good Quality/price room. Rooms are clean and very correct even if not specifically spacious. No bath but shower. Welcome is excellent. Breakfast are poor. Excellent adress if you plan not to stay your all day in your hotel room.

We have stayed at the San Zulian before and were dissapointed to find that we had a back room with no daylight! The breakfast arrangement was chaotic as the breakfast room was tiny and could not cope with the rush.Overall however the room was OK otherwise and it is VERY central.

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with this hotel. We awoke at 1:30 a.m. to find bedbugs of different sizes crawling all over us and our pillows. When my husband went down to the front desk (with several dead bugs and his own blood smeared on a tissue), he was greeted angrily for inconveniencing the concierge at that hour of night. The concierge insisted that the hotel was full, but once my husband explained that we were unable to sleep in our room any longer, the sulking staff member opened the key drawer, revealing that approx. 1/3 of the hotel’s rooms were vacant. He grabbed a key and opened up a fresh room for us. In the morning, my husband was surprised to be greeted by the hotel director. Expecting an apology, he was instead met with a torrent of defiant rhetoric defending the hotel’s cleanliness and championing its generosity in providing us with a new room. At the suggestion that perhaps our room be compensated, the director incredulously shouted that we should pay 150%, then he disappeared into the kitchen. Eventually, a separate manager agreed to compensate our room, but he made clear that it was only to give the hotel a better argument in response to any online reviews we may post.
