The Residenza Cannaregio at the beginning was a monastery of the 17th century. In the first years of the 19th century it became a squero which was the place where they used to build gondolas; nowadays it has been transformed in a very modern and comfortable hotel.

Not the easiest hotel to find but worth it when you get there. The hotel was lovely and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!!

This hotel is superb. We have no complaints whatsoever and they couldn't have been more helpful. It was so clean and tidy with a beautiful courtyard garden. The rooms are very modern and very spacious. As soon as we checked in the Conceriege gave us a 10 minute run-down on the whole of Venice and where to go. We stayed 2 nights and ate at two fabulous restaurants: La Fondamenta on Fondementa della Misericordia in Cannaregio and Alguibagio at Fondamenta Nove in Cannaregio. Both are slightly more upmarket restaurants than the normal Trattoria and we paid 50euros per head including wine! Food and service at both restaurants were excellent.

Excellent Room. Ideal for a family with kids since the room size is good. The staff is very friendly. However the St. Mark's Square which is a major draw card for visitors is a good 20-25 min walk.

Well worth a visit. Nice building and decor, very clean and pleasant staff. Breakfast had a good selection of food, didn't book for dinner. A little bit out of the way, but once you find your way around the canals and find the short cuts not too difficult to locate and quite near to the shops and other restaurants. Not the most luxurious hotel but certainly confortable. Would give it 7/10 and would recommend it.

This was the most wonderful hotel I've ever stayed in. The picturesque room was enourmous, we had a double room that could seat 9 people. The ceiling consisted of wooden beams that rose to an apex. The cocktail bar sold beautiful cocktails. The restaurant served amazing food. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's situated 20 minutes outside the centre of Venice, so you're not overwhelmed with tourists, and you can eat and drink with the Venician locals. We had 2 days in Venice, this hotel was so good - we didn't leave it for the first day!

If you are going to Venice this Hotel is in a fantastic spot to see the real city. Just minutes walk from many great bars and restaurants away from the plastic tourist experience. The hotel itself is thoroughly modern and well equiped. Really enjoyed our stay.
