This hotel was quite a find. Value for money in Venice. The surroundings were ideal and very pretty, our room overlooked a picturesque little canal which varied throughout the day - delivery barges, privat boats and taxis and a gondola mooring with a view to a typical stone bridge. The room was big and clean with marble floors and a lovely bathroom. Forgo the hotel breakfast and go out in search of superior street food and coffee and Venetian early morning life. The restaurant immediately outside the hotel door is excellent. Recommended.

Although a bit of a challenge to find, it was exactly as described. Take boat to stop called Ca' D'Oro. They also have a water door for private water taxi. The staff is friendly and very helpful and accommodating, Really in tune to your every need. Two healthy flights of stairs (no elevator) but all the rooms are on the one floor. We had a quad and the room was HUGE. King bed and two singles. Typical European-type shower though.. bath tub had no shower curtain so the bathroom floor can get pretty wet. Very nice breakfast in the morning with fresh rolls, croissants, toast, coffee, juice in a salon next to our room. We also had complimentary bottled water in the room fridge. We arrived early, our room was not ready yet, but there was no problem leaving all our luggage and returning an hour later.

I was a great time in Venezia. The hotel surprise me. The first impression became dark, because we arrived at late night. But there was a guy waiting for us and the room was very nice. The hotel had a good relation price-benefit, dispete the price be a little bit expensive.

We booked a family room for four and were given a very smart and clean, simple suite (slightly exceeding expectations). The location is attractive and at the end of the main shopping area. Very good value for money. Breakfast was served slightly early to enable us to catch a plane and comprised breads, jams, coffee. Very difficult to find (not obvious when you get to it and even some shops and restaurants within 50m of it didn't know where it was)

I was sure it was going to be a grand hotel from the photos. The truth is that the whole structure doesn't feel safe. The floor of the room slanted and when my daughter jumped I could feel the vibration in the other end of the room. The entrance was horrible. Actually wanted to look for another hotel.

Palazzo Rosa is the place to stay on your visit to venice.Location is great! Walk out the front where the gondala's are ready to start your magical trip through venice.Gianni and Samatha very helpful and friendly, our quad room was clean and spacious with a nice bathroom.The breakfast room has a lovely balcony with a view of the canal,you must take a photo there before you leave.The breakfast was also good,from Palazzo Rosa we were able to walk to all the main sites . Oh our room had air conditioning and a cupboard style kitchen with bar fridge,we loved our stay here at palazzo rosa and will recommend it to our friends in Australia. thankyou to Samatha and Gianni hope to see you again soon! By the way if you have time its worth to visit a place called BURANO just outside venice.Happy holidays!! Elizabeth Basile

The hotel was quite good. The rooms are typical for Venice-style. The only thing we complain is that the hotel is very difficult to find. There are no signs or advices to show the way.

Very good hotel for the price and excellent location no more than three minutes from Rialto bridge. Room overlooking canal was large by Venetian standards with good en-suite. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast - coffee, roll, croissant and orange juice. Only problem was finding it. You have to go through the Al Vagon restuarant outside seating area to find the door to the building in which the hotel is situated at the end of the passageway. This is not the hotel entrance which is found on the first floor inside the building. Very good and would definitely recommend.

Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Small hotel with just a few rooms but room size and accomodations were nice. Try to arrive during daylight hours as hotel was challenging to find at night and vaporetto unavailable that evening.

Great hotel overlooking a canal. Friendly, helpful and nice staff. Not too difficult to find if you have directions from the hotel staff. Would definitely stay there again. The quad room was spacious.

Fantastic property for the price, just off the beaten track yet very close to Rialto and restaurants/shops. Spacious room (two adults + two kids), super tall celings and great canal view. We had a great time staying here and the staff was fantastic and very helpful (brought our breakfast to room and mailed our postcards).
