Location of hotel was excellent. Room was clean, good size and comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was adequate although supplies of food could have been more generous. The only drawback was that there is no elevator in the hotel and guests have to climb three flights with their luggage to access their rooms. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel.

What a beautiful hotel, and very reasonably priced by Venice standards. We had a shared bathroom - which was spotlessly clean and only shared with one other room. The location is fantastic with canal views from the bedroom window - but you must buy a Venice map at the train station if you expect to find this hotel - well worth the 2.50E. Lovely for singles,couples and families - if we were ever fortunate enough to be back in Venice we would return here without hesitation!

The hotel was on nice location, walking distance to St. Marks Square, Rialto and the vaporetto lines. Walls between the rooms didn't keep all the noises, so some of the neighbours conversations can be overheard. When you're going to Venice, get a map that has all the names of the alleys. That will help you a lot finding this hotel. Otherwise the service was great and the staff was helpful. We enjoyed our stay..

WARNING the hotel was incredibly difficult to find. It is at the bottom of a dead-end alley. The map indicated that it was straight off the sqaure and it wasn't that easy. Once found it was lovely. The room was brilliant with a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only down side of the room was that you could hear everything the people in the next room were saying and doing! The hotel is in a good location walking distance from everything.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location, and compliments to the staff. We stayed in a double with shared bathroom - the shared bathroom made the whole affair extremely affordable. Room + bathroom were sparkling clean, breakfast a proper meal (for Italian standards ;-) Hotel + surroundings are even more beautiful than advertised - I enclose two views from our window on the 5th floor.

Nice hotel in an expensive City. Compared to other cities it's expensive but for Venice it was very reasonable. We had a room without a bathroom which was a slight hassle, but the bathroom was only shared between 2 rooms which was good. Very good breakfast.

Wonderfully clean room and bathroom as well as spacious. Great location and close to good restaurants. A little difficult to find, it's at the end of an alley and the hotel is lacking a name above door. I also wish that there was a lift, the suitcases up the 4 flights of stairs at the end of our stay in Italy was a little challenging. We looked at the stairs as our workout for the day. Great view of the canal.

We had a lovely stay. We were on the 4th floor, and it would have been nicer if the person in the room close to us (it might have been the "Private" room just down the hall) had not been smoking all night. Also, the heater was on too high and there was no way to change it because the remote control was locked. Overall, we liked the hotel!
