The hotel was exactly as we had expected from reading the reviews on this and other web sites - quiet, nicely decorated, convenient to walk to the main sites. It was easy to find from Zaterre boat stop. It is very close to the Peggy Guggenheim museum and the Academia. It represents good value for money. The only slight negative is that the breakfast is just OK - the same each of the three days we were there. Just a little variety would have helped.

This was a lovely hotel and Nicola took great care of us! Two things to keep in mind - where ever you stay in Venice, you should find out their nearest ferry stop and exact directions as it really is a maze. The second is that the reception is closed over night and that means the phone is switched off as well. This meant we weren't able to conduct business back home (in a completely different time zone). So keep that in mind if you will have urgent business while staying. It was in a nice quiet area away from all the crowds and we just loved every minute of our stay!

I went on a tour around Italy with my boyfriend and I stayed in 4 different hotels. This one was, no doubt, the best one (altouhg I have to say this was a bit more expensive than the others). Our room was esplendid: big, really beautiful, clean, with a small balcony and a jacuzzy in the bathroom. And the boy in the reception was very helpful. I would recomend it especially to couples. Just one advice: if you want to find it easily take a good map of Venice with you (you can get some in the internet).

Our room was softly and very beautifull, it was a room for 3 persons and it was really enough large everything is good and the breakfast is excellent

The hotel was easy to get to and not far from the main ferry stop at Academia. The hotel is situated 10-15 mins walk from St Marks Square and Rialto bridge. Although situated in a very quiet area, it is only 3 minutes walk from a large square with several pizzarias.

Located away from the hub bub of activity, which is nice however you do need to walk a bit to grab meals, etc. Overall ammenities great. Generously held our bags the day we checked out until 7pm, which was greatly appreciated.

The location of the hotel is just perfect (just 5 min walk from Academia bridge). The hotel was very cosy and clean. We were very impresed with the breakfast as usually the breakfasts in Italy are not much. Over all would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

This is a perfect gem of a hotel in a quiet part of Venice, an antidote to the tourist ridden areas of the Rialto and St Mark's square. The room was comfortable, beautifully decorated and adequate in size for three 'mature' ladies. A great deal of care and imagination has gone into the design and running of this hotel which is a true family business. We will visit here again!
