Stayed in Residenza San Maurizio and found it to be a good base for our stay in Venice it was nearer to 10 minutes rather than the 5 advetised to St Marks square but none the less was still in a good location. The staff were very friendly and our room was very nice. I would recomend it.

It wasn't as expected at all. We was redirected to an another hotel close to Locanda Barbarigo Hotel. San Maurizio aws not on my confirmation, so it was an surprise for us. The room had one closed window and the room was really small. It was a long time I spend a day in a hotel room without e.g TV in the room. Rate from us is: We will not visit that hotel again.
