As all the prices for hotels in Venice are far too high this hotel without any star rating is among the best we have experienced in this town. It provided good beds and the rooms were in a top refurbished condition. The furniture was simple but they did not pretend to be a Renaissance palace with frilly bits, but a simple and clean hotel room. The service was excellent and the only disturbing (but very loud) noise was from a building site next door which should soon be over.Plenty of breakfast places are within easy reach.

Great location, not that difficult to find, excellent customer service, always helpful receptionist. Old building but very friendly/family-like atmosphere. Double room was small but enough for a couple. Bath didn't have curtain so you end up wetting all the floor everytime you shower, but it was very clean. What you pay in Venice for accomodation (and anything else) is a day light robbery but this hotel is by far the best relationship price/quality/location you will ever find in Venice. Don't bother looking anywhere else.

Hotel very expensive. Pay separately for breakfast. Rooms very small. Location ideal. Only 2 mins walk from railstation. Owner is friendly and welcoming. However did not tell us that a remote control(which he keeps) is needed to operate Air conditioning. First night very uncomfortable. Hot plus lots of Mosquitoes. Overall mixed feelings about this place

Very convenient and comfortable little hotel. Close to train station and vaporetto stops. Staff was helpful in dealing with local rental car office.

Is important to think about air conditioning inside the rooms in the future. The nights are to warm and a fun is not enough to face the hot temperatures of the summer.

Caprera is very close to railway station , It was ideal for us that arrived in Venice at night. simple room with clean bathroom.

Very good value for money. Room and bathroom very clean, both larger than I expected. Room included a small balcony. Internet parlor on premises; if closed they will open it for you. No elevator.

Excellent value for money, warm(in winter) and with good location not far from entry/exit points. The hotel seems to be family run and is certainly very safe. It is up a back alley so all is quiet - clearly there is no view of Grand Canal and no restaurant/cafe facility etc but the rest of Venice makes up for it. Also, the rooms are Spartan and not decorated in Venetian style with chandeliers or anything but they are really clean and comfortable. I would be glad to stay there again. Alison Fayers-Kerr PS Carnival was great and I enjoyed the shops in the market area across Rialto. Also the Murano glass factory and island is fabulous.
