Upon check-in we were told one of our rooms had an A/C problem, so we had to hike to another hotel (which they had arranged). After our cruise we checked back in to Airone Hotel again. The rooms and facilities seemed substandard. One of the room A/C's performed very poorly and the room stayed hot.

Good points: Air conditioning was a life saver! Location was good, it was very close to the train station and bus station. Bad point: Was a bit noisy in the morning, all rooms lead off the breakfast room.

For a two star hotel, the Airone is what you would expect. However, it's extremely well situated just over the bridge from the train station which is also where you can catch the commuter boats that take you anywhere you need to go. The one big surprise that i found was that the toilet was in the shower, something i had never seen before, meaining that if you take a shower at night, the entire bathroom, including the sink, toilet and floor are still wet when you wake up in the morning. i don't know if all the rooms are like this. The television had extremely bad reception.

The airone has its reception two doors down from its entrance and has no reception desk of its own. a little inconvenience.

cosy hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. unfortunately a slightly noisy building. Perfect location, opposite train station, and a 30 second walk from bus station

Clean, quiet, good service. One problem: We asked how to get to the airport and we received a bus schedule that was outdated. We actually did miss the plane - even though we went to the bus stop the day before leaving (the ticket-seller also had incorrect info!! but incorrect in a different way than the one we'd received from the hotel) I'd expect hotel personnel and ticket sellers to be on top of such things.

It was similar to a hostel because we had to use a community toilet and shower, but it cost about 2-3 times as much.

Fantastic location on the Grand Canal, close to the railway station. Very efficient and helpful staff. The room was adequate and clean.

the stairs to the motel were not good and there was no porter etc for assistance not recommended for families or anyone travelling with large luggage

The staff are friendly, and most of them speak good English. The location is great, right next to the Piazza de Roma and a short hop across from the railway station. Rooms are very basic, but clean and comfortable.

The hotel was location just opposite the train station. The service was nice and friendly. The facilities were clean. The breakfast served was acceptable. No complaints.

Close to the station, very neat and clean, but the rooms are very small. Good service when we arrived. Receptionist was kind and helpful. The breakfast was definitely below par compared to the other places we stayed and so it seemed a little overpriced for small rooms and a below average breakfast. But then again Venice is more expensive.
