the bathroom flooded after the first serious shower, but you never regret taking the hotel anyway, except for a detail - the tv set volume button doesn't exist as doesn't remote control, so received angry phone call from German lady-sleeper next doors, the walls are thin

The Islands of Murano and Burano are only a few minutes away by Vaporetto (Italian water bus). Murano is famous for its glass making (and shopping) and Burano is famous for Italian lace makers. If you like to shop, you can easily spend the day wandering through the shops.

Good location near the water buses. Looks to be specialising in tour groups. Mediocre breakfast with awful coffee. Although I thought this hotel overpriced, it seems to be the going rate for the area.
