If one's intrested in Venice, willing to stay close to St. Mark's Square (not to travel much) than Duodo Palace could be the wisest choice! The rooms ranging from really comfortable cheaper ones to huge ellegant suites! The service is impressive, nice, english speaking staff! Breakfast was fine aswell! Do not hesitate to book a room in Duodo!

Great location but not all the rooms are as the web info suggests. We had a tiny room with very little natural light. Fortunately we had secured the room at a very low price. Breakfast could have had more variation. Staff very helpful.

Access the hotel by private water taxi (expensive) as it is a 10 minute walk over two bridges to St. Marks square and the public water taxi service. The hotel is on a canal. Rooms sizes are okay as most hotel rooms in Venice are on the small size. The Theater Resturant located around the corner from the hotel and near the Teatro La Fenice was excellant. Internet WiFi service was available in the lobby area only, and was not a problem.

Difficult hotel to find, signposting is not visible at all. The hotel is located within a 10 minute walk of St Marks Square, so good location when found, also very quiet. Reception staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast staff not so friendly. No food available other than breakfast and no bar service after 11pm, resident or not! Tea/coffee facilities would be nice in the bedrooms as not available most of the time from the bar. Nice bedrooms and good sized bathrooms.

Our first and hopefully not last visit to the Duodo Palace was absolutely spectacular! Michele, the concierge, was always there with the correct answer besides being the best concierge we had in Italy. The room, 307, was a dream. My fiance and I both were born, raised and still live and work in New York City and the accomodations we are used to here in hotels were exactly what we expected from the Duodo Palace, first class and that is exactly what the Duodo Palace is. I highly recommend the Duodo PAlace to anyone visiting Venice.

Lovely hotel in beautiful area. little difficult to find. Helpful staff. Some web sites mention that all room have frescos and canal views, this is not accurate.

We stayed on the top floor with a view of the city. It was quiet, clean, and staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Hotel, Very helpful staff. Only problem was the location map which placed hotel near the central station. No joke, when I had to haul bags all the way to the correct site!!

Generally a very nice hotel in which to stay. Breakfast is a bit limited, and one misses the creature comfort of english-speaking tv / movies, but I guess you don't go to Venice for that. There may be competition for the only internet port, which is off the lobby. Staff very helpful. Be sure to confirm the nearest boat depot before departure, as you need to carry your bags from the boat depot to the hotel (no taxis).

Excellent Hotel in good proximity to most important sights. Friendly Staff. Most romantic hotel to arrive at by water taxi (€100) from airport. Bar service ends a little early at 11:30pm. Continental Breakfast simple but satisfying. Have stayed twice, and will go back again. Be advised to double check address as website map is (still) wildly inaccurate.
