The best rooms- regarding vieuw out of the windows- are on canal side, first floor. The room rates of Venere were sufficient to get one of these rooms.

Very difficult to find. Was approasched via a small unmarked alleyway which wan't more than 3 feet wide at the entrance. Otherwise is was an excellent choice for the price and was convenient to a vaporetto stop.

The hotel was hard to find. It would have been nice to receive directions in writing on how to get there from the aiport (i.e., take laguna taxi and vaporetto 82 to Palanca, make a left once you exit the station and turn left on Street name/alley way). Thanks
