The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and let us leave our luggage with them while we spent the last day in the city. Our room was very pretty and comfortable. The hotel is located in the university area of the city so the surrounding area is much younger and is livelier than other parts of Venice. The hotel is not far from Campo San Margarita, an area with many bars and cafes that are open late and night and early in the morning. Another nice thing about this hotel is the proximity to a Billa grocery store.

It was nice with breakfast on the hotel, which is not common in Venice, and even nicer that it was served on the room. But for a North European it is hard to understand why the breakfast cannot include good bread and a little cheese.

This hotel was nice. It had a great location of being near the grand canal. Many other reviews say that this hotel is very difficult to find, but don't let that deter you because that is pretty much true of EVERYTHING in Venice. Once you do find the hotel though, it had a very sweet staff, and a clean room. My only complaint, and it's really not that big of a deal, is that when I came in late (11:30pm), the receptionist was sleeping, I had to knock for her to let me in the lobby, an when she did, she "shushed" me, because the rest of the hotel was sleeping. I thought that was a little odd. But, I would definitely stay there again, there were no other problems.

Very clean and charming hotel. Breakfast in the room was lovely and very convenient. Location was great - close to tourist attractions but far enough away to avoid street noise. Safe to come back late at night (I was a single female traveler). Generally, the hotel could use an update but it was very clean and for the price certainly fulfilled my expectations. I would stay here again.
