Chosen for location near railway but the service and upgrade option for the Canal (our cost) were totally unexpected. The staff were extremely accommodating and gave us 3 excellent nights in Venice, which enabled our switch off from work to click in. Really appreciated this selection.

This hotel is a real gem. The location is great - on the canal but away from the masses - very close to the railway station and bus terminal. Rooms are large by European standards and finished to a very high standard. Free Internet access in the lobby. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff - they are incredibly helpful and go out of their way with each and every guest. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The staff at this hotel bent over backwards to help me with several items including: tracking lost luggage, tour suggestions, arranging transportation and sending me quotes on gondola rides.

The hotel's location right on the Grand Canal and five minutes' walk from the main bus station and immediately across from the train station with a nearby bridge to walk over, is its best asset, plus the retained atmosphere of a very old building. We liked the idea of being away from the very hectic tourist areas of St Mark's and Rialto, although it was very easy to get there by waterbus. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Great hotel in an excellent location. Staff very helpful. Within 2-3 minute walk of laundromat, pizza, wine, sandwich shops, and restaurants. Directly across from train station. Room was very quiet and spotless. Would definitely stay there in the future.

This is a fantastic hotel with a great location. It is right on the grand canal across from the train station and within 500 yards of the main bus drop-off site from the airport. There are no noisy restaurants in the immediate area so sleeping is very quiet. The rooms are large by Italian standards and have been recently upgraded. They have an elevator. The staff is exceptionally courteous and helpful, not something we usually found throughout Italy. This is where we will stay on all future trips to Venice.

Wonderful location from train station Very nice room with wonderful bathtub and lots of hot water. Very courteous, friendly staff many of whom were fluent in English.
