The room was small but not too small as we found in other countries. The service was excellent and the staff were very accomodating which made up for any negatives there may have been relating to the size of the room or the age of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially if you want to be in the heart of Venice!!

The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room speak enough English. All the staff members were friendly. There were a lot of steps to carry luggage up, but it's very easy to get to the train station - a 5 minute walk. It was quiet at night, but be on the look out for mosquitoes. Since Venice can be confusing, it's nice to be able to get back to your hotel by following the signs for the train station - per ferrovia. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by, as well as an internet use shop.

A good budget priced hotel. It's very well placed for access to all parts of the city by water bus or on foot. The restaurants, shops, etc are more realistically priced in the area than in the tourist traps elsewhere, and there is a good selection nearby. It's also handy for Piazza Del Roma busses and taxis.

We found the hotel very convenient very close to the station.and the staff helpful.Only wish they have a porter system to carry bags up to the 3rd floor. will recomend it to friends.! Pravin and nandita Ghatge.india

Shower at own risk. Water temperatures goes from boiling to luke warm. Breakfast at the hotel next door. Good breakfast though. Hammering sound from the pipes. Nice staff.

There is no left, as we know, but we had requested if we can have a room on the ground or 1st floor, as both my husband and I have back problems, but apparently we were put on the 3rd flloor, which was hard as my husband and i both had suitcase each, carry on luggage and handbag. I think the hottel should consider people travelling ffrom afar like austtralia, USA or NZ or any far countries should maybe put us on the ground. Breakfast room was very bad, very small, as we had to waitt for 27minuttes for a table, only one person making cofffee, clearing table, washing up, where is the service here, the hotel needs to get its act together and hire more staff during high season, & need staff 2 help with luggage even if we have to pay for it, now come on. Rooms very small, couldnt even move around the room. Would not recommend this hotel, and will not stay here again.

Broken pipe in room =smelly so had to move rooms but replacement didn't have an ensuite.Breakfast was in hotel next door which was OK.

Clean and in a good location but bugbears included having to state what time we wanted the following morning's breakfast the day before and more importantly couldn't use any of the electrical points in the room! Staff said we could charge phones in reception but this was not acceptable.

The hotel is in such a good location, though quite obscure and hard to find, especially at night. It's near the train station, and also the vaporetto stop. The buses that goes to and from Venice Treviso and Marco Polo Airport are also a mere 10 minute walk away. There are also many restaurants nearby, and a couple of Internet cafes. There are also plenty of souvenir shops nearby. Very pleased with the clean bathroom. Also had a nice balcony. However, the place could do with an elevator and air-conditioning.

Ground floor rooms# 4 & 8 are very noisy. Both are to the front and adjacent to reception and breakfast area respectively.
