This is the perfect hotel for a relaxing break to Venice. It is a lovely 20 minute stroll the the main sights of St Marks Square, tourist city. The hotel is beautiful and of a very high standard. It is excellent value for money - you wont be disappointed. Venice is one of the busiest tourist spots in the world and this hotel is a gem in a city were you are often forced to pay expensive rates for tatty hotels.

Our room was small but finished to a very high standard and breakfast was great. Although it's away from the centre of Venice we got a 3 day tourist waterbus pass and hopped on and off the waterbus which was a great experience in itself! A lovely short break!

Have just returned from a five day stay at the Ai Mori D'Oriente Hotel, Venice. Beautiful hotel and we certainly felt we had great value for money! Fantastic breakfast and very attentive service. The only criticism we have is that the prices in the bar were extremely high and, therefore, we did not use it - this is a shame as it would have been very nice to have taken an aperitif and a night cap there! We were obviously not alone in our thoughts as during the whole of our stay, we did not see anyone using the bar - what a waste of such a pleasant facility! Nevertheless, we had a wonderful stay and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this lovely hotel.

Good location close to some great local bars and restaurants you definately need to get a water taxi if arriving at night as the hotel would be difficult to find in the dark. Rooms were well decoratated and very clean the hotel had its quirky features, like walking through a 'tent corridor' to reach rooms located at the back - all in all very adequate for our needs - would definately use this hotel again

This hotel is perfectly situated in a quite area, and the answer to people that really is fussy about cleanliness. We were staying for 2 nights, and enjoyed it thoroughly. The breakfast is of high standard especially the cappuccino that you can take. All products were fresh. I will stay in no other hotel, when I will go back to visit Venice in future.

If you're looking for a bit of luxury and a hotel just off the touristy beaten track of Venice then you could do a lot worse then Hotel Ai Mori D'Oriente. The hotel has an Arabic theme and the rooms are clean with bright colours and good facilities. The service is friendly and efficient and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. The bar is quite small, but fine for a quick drink before you set out for the evening and I'm sure you'll enjoy the continental breakfast. The location is also good, you're a half hour walk from San Marco square and there are some very good non-touristy local restaurants near the hotel, with reasonable prices and even better fare! The only criticism I'd have is that the walls are a little thin, I would also recommend trying for a room that is not on the ground floor as the only windows in the room look straight into the dining area (this is a boutique hotel after all)! If you can, try for one of the attic rooms.

An overall excellent experience. We found the room and facilities to be attractive and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was highly attentive. The hotel was located directly on a small canal within a 20 minute walk to St. Marks Square, and conveniently within easy walking distance of two vaperetto stops. I can highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return on a future visit to Venice.

This hotel is overpriced. The service was adequate, the room somewhat dismal, and the food just okay. For the amount spent for this hotel, one should get more bang for the buck. The location is away from the action, which might be a good thing for some people, but we ended up spending a lot of time either hoofing it or taking the city's water bus system to get to the sites we wanted to see. Also, the room was very noisy. If the people in the room next to us used the bathroom, we could hear their every move as if they were in the same room.

Very charming place in one of the most beautiful areas in Venice. It's just a pity that some of the rooms look like are in the basement as the windows are too high to see outside. But no complain, the price was actually really good.
