The service staff was very friendly and helpful. Very accessible and safe place. Rooms were very basic, clean and comfortable. The lighting was a bit too dim though.

Basic accommodation but comfortable and clean. Can hear movements on floor above which are quite loud. Cleaning staff start early and chat loudly which woke us. Staff very obliging and they look after your bags until you need to leave for airport/cruise.

Excellent location to many places of interest. Staff fairly friendly and helpfull. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.

The room is quite small. But the location is GREAT!. $10 for parking at the Landmark hotel, 80m from this hotel. NO free internet. No elevator. Anyway, I like the service here.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Barclay. It was an excellent location, right on Robson street and close to Stanley Park. Parking was only 10.00, which is a bargain. For the money this is an excellent hotel and I will surely stay there again. Excellent value!

A refurbished hotel with alert staff. Parking is not avaliable in the hotel. Continental breakfast is somewhat rudimetary. Convenient to the West end and Stanley Park but several blocks from downtown.

The hotel meets my two basic needs: comfortable bed (solid, clean, and warm) and a good shower (adequate water pressure, and no fluctuation from hot to cold). The hotel does not provide luxurious services such as a cafe. It is value for money if you do not spend much time in the room and want to enjoy the surrounding instead. Easy access to public transport, and there are lots of branded shops and good restaurants in the vincinity.

Chose Barclay for budget and location, generally happy with choice. Booked 2 twins for 4 nights but one was a double. Admitted their error and relocated one room (but after first night, which was ok). Be aware, std rooms very small, no hanging for clothes, barely space for 2 suitcases, and bathrooms tho clean are size of large cupboard. But good beds, fine for our needs and budget. Great location if you don't mind walking a few blocks. Robson shops and good eating not far on foot, likewise downtown attractions, Canada Wharf & Skytrain, bus to Stanley Park. Try it!

This is our 4th stay at the barclay. We love it. Great position, friendly front desk staff, clean rooms and terrific price. There is a small bar downstairs to pick up a cheap but filling continental breakfast or have a drink of an evening. Rooms are smallish but for the price you put up with the cosiness. Highly recommend this hotel.
