We had booked for twin beds. We had also advised the hotel we would be late arriving due to flight change. When we got there we ended up in a very cramped & noisy room because our room overlooked the main street. The hair dryer did not work and the bathroom exhuast fan was SO NOISY we ended up not using it. Whilst the young gentleman at the desk was most pleasant, his reasons for us not getting what we ordered were, to say the least, very weak indeed. The other hiccup was the fact that there is only ONE lift to service some 300 rooms. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience. We would not use this hotel again!

This centrally located hotel in downtown Vancouver has been the best bargain in hotels I ever had. To my pleasant surprise the low price even included a continental breakfast.

The staff at St Regis are gracious, helpful and extremly friendly. My Husband and I travelled for nine weeks this was the best hotel we stayed in. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Anson and his staff are to be congratulated! Regards Rita and Mike Dunphy

The excellent front-desk staff quickly make this budget hotel much better than it may look from the outside - don''t let that put you off. This is a serious bargain of a hotel and a perfect base to tour Vancouver and the surroundings from. No request ever seemed to be too much and they made the stay a very relaxing and enjoyable one. The addition of the basement breakfast room made another improvement from my previous stay and Jesters next door is recommended for cheap eats - HAVE A COW (you''ll see if you ever visit)

The continental breakfast was in a beautiful, spacious basement room, but it was the same every day. Choices were limited. Best to get a room on the back side on Saturday night. Street noise went on until 3:30 a.m. Excellent location, steps from the subway.

This hotel is really good value for money. It was located in the heart of just about everything in Vancouver. The front desk staff were exceptionally curteous, helpful and very kind. The room we had was large and exceedingly comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance of a lot of the city's attractions - Stanley Park, shopping streets, Art Gallery, Harbour. The added bonus was a delicious and healthy breakfast was included in the price. This hotel was fantastic and I can't recommend it highly enough.
