The hotel had not rtained the room that we had prepaid for. They transferred us to Ramada Limiled and upgraded us to exceutive standard. Overall we were pleased with the transfer even if it did mean a furhter taxi ride. Above ratings are not applicable but were completed to allow submission.

The hotel has an attractive foyer in a modern interpretation of art deco style, but the rest of the building does not live up to its initial promise. It is old and the rooms facing the inside courtyard are rather depressing, small and dark. It is not in a particulary good part of town and is surrounded by a number of seedy clubs and bars. Facilities are not below average, but it lacks that something which makes one's stay memorable.

Friendly service. Normal check out time is 11 am. Due to the fact that I had a long flight ahead of me to Australia they allowed me to check out at 3 pm at no extral cost. I very much appreciated that.

The location adjacent to the red light district was not acceptable. The nightclub located in the basement was so loud that the noise could be heard in a third floor bedroom until it ended at 3 o'clock on the Sunday morning.

We booked a triple room. The room was badly designed with hardly any space for a person to stand and once the luggage was kept inside, we had to literally walk on the beds to be able to move within the room. The bath room was spacious. Despite the courteous service which couldn't be faulted, the convenient down town location, etc. I wouldn't book into Ramada again. The room we stayed in was 603.

Reception could have been better staffed at busy times, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very handy for a nice stroll to the waterfront and other Vancouver sights and on the main road in from and back to the airport.

Convenient location but walking area unsafe especially after dark. Noisy at night on week ends due to the the Irish bar adjoining the hotel. The double room was very small for three. Staff was very accomodating and friendly.

Very disappointed that we were not informed that there was filming taken place at the Hotel, as a result we had no access to dining or bar. Also getting in and out of parking was inconvenient.

Very average hotel and poor location for the calibre of a Ramada Hotel. Would consider this hotel to be 2 and half star at best. For price there are better hotels and better locations within Vancouver.

I requested for NON smorking room before check in time. But they did not give us it. I noticed that there is no hair conditionar in the room. Even if I called them, they said that they will find it. But never come back to us.

It's a hotel room! Clean and tidy as one would expect. The services one might expect at a hotel of this price (room service etc.) are not available but you can order just about anything in easily enough. It is located at the Granville Island end of Granville Street. One has to walk through some of the seedier end of Vancouver to get there, but neither myself nor my companion were the subject of unwanted attention. Good for a buisness trip or for younger travellers. I'm not sure I would take my young children if I were to return to Vancouver.

Was a bit pricy for the location... Hotel was quite reasonably nice on the inside, and staff were pleasant. However, housekeeping did not show up until we called down. Other than that it was a generally pleasant and enjoyable experience.
