Despite being in a recently refurbished room we were not impressed with the finish. Sockets were loose on the wall and the hair drier, located in a drawer was not secured meaning that the mains wires were accessible when the base was lifted by using the drier. An inquisitive child could easily receive a serious electric shock. It was not very special for a five star hotel. The location though was almost ideal with the railway station and airport buses nearby (a taxi to the airport would be very expensive) and the old town area a short walk over a bridge.

No problems with the hotel. Our problem was with either HotelClub or Gullivers Travels or Flairview for not reserving the rooms soon enough so that we were obliged to accept smoking rooms. We were very unhappy about this and have complained to Flairview and had an unsatisfactory reply. We booked on 06.06.06 but the rooms were only reserved on 20.11.06 for a busy time of the year. Will not use HotelClub again.

slow, however friendly check-in waiter in dinner restaurant indeed slow, got lost checking the computer, did not find the wine, forgot serving water, main course served only to me, my wife waited another 10 minutes, obviuosly had a bad day checking out, luggage room locked, however unattended, bell captain paged by the reception, never showed up, almost did not catch the airport express

The hotel is situated within 4-5 minutes walk from the Central Bus & Train Station in the heart of the City and within a pleasant 10 minute walk from the old part of the City. Location is therefore excellent with no need for a car. Accomodation is good with truly excellent service and a terific breakfast buffet! Certainly somewhere we would stay again.

No negative comments are deserved for this hotel with a superb location in the middle of everything, i.e. walking distance to shopping, old town quarter, air terminal, rail, royal castle, parlament, etc.

It's down as a Five Star Hotel but the room we were allocated was of four star quailty....max. We still had a very enjoyable stort stay and the location allowed us easy access to wonder about Stoctholm's old city, which was great fun. Breakfast was......YUMMY.

An excellent hotel that we managed to book through the site at a fantastic rate. If you wish to explore Stockholm then this hotel is absolutely perfect. The breakfast is very good! We have styed at other 4 star hotels in Sweden and this hotel is far, far better than any of the others, both in facilities, decor and room size.
