Great location, good rooms, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. On the negative side because of the (quite lovely) tiled floors, people clomping around in shoes at 5.30 am wake up the people in the room below. There are are 2 TV channels in English - CNN and BBC World so if they want to attract more English-speaking clients they could increase the number of channels.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and any problems were immediately dealt with. Facilities were good and I especially enjoyed the aquarobics three times a week - an excellent idea! We would definitely pay a return visit. One small suggestion - a shop within the hotel would be a good idea, selling newspapers, books etc.

An Excellent Hotel, in a good location. In room facilities were very good. Pool area was clean, sunny and not too busy. Good connections from the town to Lisbon.

Both myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Vila Gale Village Cascais. We found the facilities excellent and the staff to be professional, courteous, very helpful and unobtrusively efficient at all times. Very good inclusive breakfasts. Useful self-catering facilities in all rooms. Well located for walking into Cascais, only 5 minutes away. Good for independent travellers using excellent public transport to Lisbon and Sintra.

The hotel is situated within walking distance to the centre of Cascais on a quiet street. We were able to control the airconditioning of our room. Our room had plenty of space, and the shower had good water pressure. The firmness of the beds could be improved. The hotel receptionists were friendly and gladly offered us another room because of the noisy elevator. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of foods. We will stay here again. Bonus Free parking.

A pleasant hotel with good facilities in a quiet spot only a couple of minutes walk from the marina. Probably worth going for a sea view room unless you just want a view of the car park. Also I'd advise against Winners Bar unless you're a fan of tuneless Elvis Presley covers.

On the coast with great views, service is keen and efficient, small bar has local talent most evenings with music. Noise is a big problem with seaview rooms as Disco opposite is open until 6am, I hope you like bass.

Hotel itself is very good, staff was very helpful, friendly and understanding of us not speaking Portuguese. We had a bit of trouble finding it (no fault of the hotel) it would be useful to have more detailed information about how to get there on the web.
