The hotel had only been open for around 7 weeks when we stayed so everything was brand-spanking new and spotless. The rooms are very contemporary but with a slight Asian influence, the decor very good. The staff were all extremely polite and we were very happy with our stay here. Slightly out of town but as Siem Reap is so small, it's only a 15 minute brisk walk from the centre - perfect for walking off that big evening meal and for sobering up after a few beers. I'm sure that the prices will increase as this hotel has been styled on more highly-priced hotels locally - aesthetically it's pretty impressive and the breakfasts (included in our room rate) were pretty impressive. Higly reccommended as long as you're happy with a short walk into town.

Tara Angkor was better than other hotels I've stayed at! The staff were exceedingly helpful and attentive, without being intrusive. It's a brand-new hotel, so let's see if they can keep up the good start!
