Distance from hotel to centre is a 20 minute walk, takes abit to navigate around the narrow streets so advise to get directions before you venture out.

Hotel has a shabby exterior and is located some distance from the main tourist attractions, and a taxi is needed. The breakfasts are a disaster and are reconstituted or warmed up and delivered. Want a fried egg or anything a little different...no chance..there is no kitchen in the morning I was told. But the rooms and courtyard are quiet and impressive for the money and if a little disorganised most of the reception staff speak English and can help. Swimming pool on the roof is inadequate. Something brown and ugly joined me in the bedroom on my last morning and I left it where it hid under the bed. Its a 3* no no for me but if money is short....well try it.

We found this hotel excellent, we had a room in the older part and it was very good with a sitting room off it. Bathrooms and bed linen were very clean. Breakfast in the dinning room was lovely and the breakfast excellent. Everyone was helpful and courteous and there is car parking under the hotel at a reasonable cost. Location is excellent. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Typical Spanish Decor with little tiles everywhere.

Everything was positive. The only deception was when we arrived: on the brochure of the hotel one sees a picture of a nice garden with the suggestion of lots of space around. In reality the garden is very very small (yet nice). The picture should be more honest and realistic instead of suggesting dreams you will not find ...

Unforturnately we just had one night at your hotel. Your location was a little bit difficult to find when you come by car, but when we arrived your hotel was a positive surprise.

Location is the problem with this Hotel - misleadingly it is in a part of the city that is called Central - but is not the centre where tourists want to be (ie near the Cathedral). That is all a good 20 minute walk away. But other than that it is a very nice place without being luxurious.

We really enjoyed our stay at the San Gill. Facilities were fabulous and the staff were so friendly. We were a little surprised to find a four star hotel in the area but once we found our feet everything was fine though it is more than a 10 minute walk from the centre!

I have stayed in a number of hotels in England and Spain and this hotel is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of staying. I would certainly have no hesitation of going back to this hotel in the future and would reccommend it to my friends. I stayed for 6 nights. Excellent, friendly service and the air-conditioned rooms were really clean and very comfortable. Anybody looking for a good hotel in Seville will not be disappointed.

The Hotel is difficult to drop and collect luggage. It is however within reasonable distance of the tourist sites. Whilst breakfast was OK the evening dinner we had was very poor quality though not too expensive. We have stayed in the hotel before and would return because we like its ambience. Rooms are attractive and the central courtyard is a lovely feature. The swimming pool and sun bathing area are roof-top and popular with guests.

Slightly out of the way location and not that easy to find first time but once you are inside it is a lovely setting and very peaceful. Highly recommended if you don't want to be staying right in the centre. We walked everywhere from here - plenty of bars to stop off at and have a beer on the way. We would be happy to stay here again.

San Gil Hotel Seville is not really a four-star hotel according to Asian standards. I would rate it three-stars for its facilities and service. The in-room amenities are adequate, except for the short supply of facial tissue paper - two sheets in a packet. In addition, my junior suite did not feature a jacuzzi bath while other standard rooms did. However, I would still recommend San Gil Hotel Seville for its pricing and adequate service/facilities for travellers on a budget.
