This is a really nice and confortable apartment hotel in the Santa Cruz district. However, it is very difficult to find, even with a map! I would not recommend getting a room on the lower level, particularly room #1, as you get a concrete wall for a view. If your breakfast is not included, I would suggest eating elsewhere as breakfast at the hotel Murillo is rather plain.

For what we wanted - a couple with 20 year old student daughter, Murillo Appartments were ideal. Good bedroom and sofa bed, very clean and excellent but unobtrusive service. Location was super, and we never used cooking facilities because there are so many places to eat within 5 minutes walk. We recommend nearby Bodega Santa Cruz for proper Sevillano hospiality in the true pub sense. But there are plenty more. No hesitation in recommending Apartments Murillo. Please pass on our comments to the staff.

Finding it is hard, but worth it. It is in an area cars are not allowed. We found the Murillo Hotel (related) thinking we'd finally made it. It was quite close. It's a great place for more than 2 people and very reasonable. Get directions before you leave. There's an underground parking garage nearby. We came back about 1:00 in the morning and found it locked up and we'd left the key at the desk. Luckily we knew about the Murillo Hotel, which fortunately had the keys for the apartments!

The location is excellent but very hard to find. You need to provide detailed instructions on how to get there. It is an excellent place for the amount of money. Will recommend it any time.

Excellent location from which to explore and at a very reasonable price. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideal as a base. Would definitely stay here again despite some noise as we were on the ground floor. It didn't really disturb us though.

Outstanding location, friendly staff, 1 block from Alcazar. Only difficulty is getting near in a taxi - is on a small alleyway in middle of walk street section of Sta. Cruz. Highly recommended.

i have stayed at this hotel/apartment for a number of years and the recent remodel is very nice. the location is the best and the service polite and sincere.

A bit noisy at times as there is a restaurant around the corner where they clean up at the bins at 1 in the morning, but beyond a couple of crashes and bangs, nothing much. There is no banging front door as mentioned elsewhere - it's all glass now. Outstanding location (less than 10 minutes walk to most attractions), crisp & clean apartments and the most efficient and friendly reception staff I have seen in any of the 40+ countries I have been to. I gave them a 12/10 on their rating card.

The staff were great, the apartment super and location terrific. If travelling go by taxi from the airport to Santa Cruz Square - it's a 2 minute walk from there through narrow streets. The apartments are within easy walking distance of main sites and only 10 minutes from centre for shopping etc. The kitchen is very adeqaute and air con a must. Take your own cork screw for Rioja wine - the only thing missing.

We were delighted when we arrived at the Murillo Apartments. They were spacious, clean & right in the centre of everything. The only draw back was the noise at night. The walls appear to be very thin as we could hear everything going on in the hallway & we could hear everything that was going on in the apartment next to us. Unfortunately for us, our neighbours were singing, chatting & throwing up until 7am. Luckily our noisy neighbours were only there for the first night. After that we had no problem getting a good nights sleep.

The hotel/apartment was extremely nice but the rooms were on the street side and we could hear, both rooms, all the night activity which would go on until 3:00am and 4:00 am. The windows need to be doubled paned for quiet or those rooms need to only be rented to people who can sleep through anything. Even at the siesta times, the noise was loud because 50 feet away was a restaurant. A good idea would be to ask customers if they require quiet rooms or a scenic room. Our apartment was very nice but very loud.
