Would have appreciated better information about parking (both beforehand and on location), more English-language TV channels, a small gym or a small swimming pool at a centrally located 4-star hotel also catering to business travelers, and longer breakfast opening hours in the restaurant.

A very centrally located hotel, you couldn't wish for a better place from which to explore the city and visit all the landmarks. Very good concierge service, clean rooms, great breakfast. No complaints, would go back again no problem.

This hotel is very well positioned, on the Plaza Nueva. It is well run. slightly old-fashioned, and very pleasant. The only problem I had was that my room had a connecting door with another, which meant that it was very noisy at times.

The food in the restaurant was the best we had during our stay in Seville. The position of the hotel is perfect. If you have a room overlooking the street it is very noisy through the night at week ends.

The hotel is in the process of refurbishment and only certain floors are in use. Also Plaza Nueva, on which the hotel stands, is a mess because of the construction of the new Metro. However the new rooms are large and sumptuously furnished. Friday night noise from a local bar just below our room window was very disturbing.

rooms at front suffer from church bells during the night. is underging refurbishment (may 2004 ) and when checked in bathroom had no water. Despite telling reception they did nothing about it and spent one hour chasing a change of room. However when they did get their act together no complaints at all. Nice hotel in good location but need to be a litle more switched on pmcnamara@clara.net

I will NEVER stay here again. Nice hotel; small, but functional rooms--nothing fancy-- but the constant, overpowering odor of cigarette smoke was downright nauseating. The entrance is right off a lounge --usually filled with smokers-- so the fumes hit you right as you enter. Even our third floor room was not enough to get away from the incessant stink! Unless you're a smoker, stay away!!!

This hotel is in an ideal location, easy walking distance to all the major sites. The staff are very helpful. They provide an excellent breakfast to set you up for the day. If we go back to Seville we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

The Inglaterra was pleasant and in a good location in Seville, only a few blocks from the Cathedral. The staff were helpful. The negatives were that the room I stayed in was a slightly worn, and had a small window that looked out onto three other walls.

The air conditioner in my room was not working properly. It was loud and going off and on all night. It was very warm in my room. Other than that everything else was sufficient. Great location.

11/03 What a bargain and the service was excellent. Multilingual staff was very gracious and informative. Centrally located, within walking distance to The Cathedral and Alcazar and many more must see things. Driving in Sevilla is not easy. Walk or take a cab. Excellent breakfast included. Good decor and the bar is very comforting. Highly recommend this facility.

The hotel staff were not very helpful, and the service in its bar was poor. The room was drab and had two small uncomfortable single beds. As I would expect this standard from a cheap 2 star hotel this hotel was very overpriced even after considering the location.

Excellent location especially for the shopping area. Short walk to the river. Breakfast excellent.
