Stayed here first week 2007. Picked hotel from internet. Hotel is in a quiet location, but only 10 minutes by bus to center of Funchal.Free hotel shuttle during day. Excellent friendly staff. Good sized bedrooms in superior room, indoor and outdoor pools. Only minus are the gym and the nightly themed dinners. However plenty of restaurants close by. John Carroll. Dublin Ireland.
