Hotel clean and well positioned with marvelous sea views. Rooms a little 'dated'. Free transport to Funchal over subscribed - a more freequent service or larger bus would help.

I was disappointed in the hotel. It was a bit run down. The entrance had a rug that was old and dirty and this was the initial impression. The bathroom fixtures were a bit worn and the hot water ran out quickly. I was not given an ocean view and it was low season so I believe I paid too much for the room.

Most aspects of the hotel of the hotel were very satisfactory except for the awful coffee served with the otherwise good breakfasts.The staff were pleasant;-the hotel and grounds were clean;-the location is handy for transport and local facilities but the courtesy bus should, I believe, be made available before 10am to cut down the scramble for seats on the first service currently available at 10am.
