Website shows rooms that are not available to travel agents you end up the second floor in dingy multi coloured box rooms which are very noisy due to the paper thin walls, limited space, humid and no ventilation except for noisy ceiling fan.MY advice dont stay here

The location of the hotel is convenient for both the train station and the ferry terminal. Although the published pictures showed a newly renovated and modern reception area the rooms on offer show a different picture. Our room had not been decorated or modernised in many years with purple and green colour schemes,worn carpet tiles and a rancid stench from the dank internal courtyard. Avoid !

A basic 2 star hotel, looks a lot nicer in reception and on the photos on website. The twin room we saw was much more nicely decorated than the double room we stayed in, Our room though very clean and tidy was purple and pink (Yuk!) But overall as a stop over hotel I had no complaints, and arriving late in the evening was not a problem, the adjoining bar serves food and drink till midnight.

If you can handle noise, the window rooms are the way to go. Don't get one without a window, because those are really depressing, small, and somewhat noisy too. The location is great from a standpoint of being near the bus and train stations, with one of the train stations being the narrow gauge train of northern Spain, FEVE. But there was a tremendous amount of street noise, and no nice view of lakes and valleys, just another building. The breakfast was not all that great, but edible. The coffee that came with the breakfast was essentially undrinkable. Tasted like they burned it from the day before.
