Good hotel, great breakfast, hotel about 20-30 minute walk from cathedral but metro outside and only 3 stops. Hotel does not exchange money and it's not easy to find a bank so take money with you. First room very large at the side of the hotel but smoking, changed rooms to non-smoking second floor room at the front of hotel not so large and a bit noisy from the trams. Everything in rooms you would won't, hotel bar was like a nightclub and very busy every night (was there wednesday-friday), not a relaxing place and the only place to sit outside your room, if you like feeling as if you are in a fashion show then you will love it. Restaurant is at the side of the bar and the food is different very modern.

Beautiful historical building with huge guest rooms, wide staircases, magnificent garden complete with fountain of goddess Diana, excellent location close to Duomo, La Scala and shops (10 minutes walk), great service, plasma tv and internet connection in bedrooms, excellent buffet breakfast, and friendly staff. A good hotel by any standards but an exceptional one in Europe - a real find. The only criticism would be there's only one lift so request a room on a lower floor if you don't want wait for it or if you have a problem using stairs.

The bed was wonderful! I would not have paid 32 Euros for the continental breakfast, but it was fine since it was included in my rate.

As an hotelier myself, my wife and decided to stay in Milan at this hotel for a long weekend. The hotel was very nice, staff very helpful, professional and attentive with good English spoken by most if not all staff. The only criticism that i do have is that when we switched the centralised air conditioning on at night it made the room smell of cigars, which as non smokers was quite of putting, we just turned the a/c off but it then became quite warm in the room. Inspite of this I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anybody and look forward to going back once again in the near future.

This was a pleasant hotel located in a safe area. 15 min walk through the main shopping district to the Duomo. Our room was very comfortable if a little small. Good bathroom. Lovely hotel bar. Very nice terrace/garden. Pleasant although not overly friendly staff. Overall a very comfortable, pleasant and reliable hotel. Not excessive or overly formal but I prefer it that way. Would stay again.

Extremely good location, right next to pta. Venezia with Metro 2 minutes away. Hotel has a very good restaurant a very enjoyable trendy/lively bar. Room was very spacious thought the one we had was not a newly refurbished, nevertheless still good.

Hotel is very well situated in Milan with an ultra cool bar and garden with there own DJ. Service was excellent and the room was spacious and worthy of its star rating although the bathroom was not so great. The only problem we had was the noise from the road outside. If you book, ask for a room at the back facing the garden. It is above the bar and restaurant but the bar closed at around 10.30pm so no problems with noise late in the evening. We would definitely stay there again.
