On reflection should not have opted for the upgrade that was very expensive for what was actually given. Leaflet in the room explained that there were a number of options as to which bed linen or pillows were available. Only found this leaflet on the last day and had not made aware of these choices by the staff. Newspaper on first morning - but in spite of querying its absence on subsequent days, it never turned up again. The separate dining room for 3rd floor residents was interesting - but with only a very limited range of options on display. The main dining/breakfast room is a much better option - a case of paying more but actually getting less perhaps? All in all; middle of the road 5*, very much a business travellor hotel, easy travel to city centre - but do not fall for the upgrade!
