Rooms overlooking the back street is unbelievably nosy; it is not possible to sleep due to street cars (trams) that operate until very late. I recommend they have a better sound insulation. I had to have the room changed the second night.

We enjoyed the hotel, the room and bathroom were spacious, extremely clean and the staff were very helpful. They recommended various restaurants which turned out to be good value and with very good food. Being beside the Central Station makes it easy to move about the city using the metro, trams and buses. It's just a few minutes by the metro to the Duomo.

Very disappointed with this hotel, particularly at a rate of EUR 500+ per night for a standard room. Stayed 4 nights, non-smoking room not allocated despite advance request, smell of cigarette smoke from adjoining rooms frequently interrupted sleep. Beside Central Train Station but area often didn't seem safe during day and definitely not at night. Experience certainly won't encourage me to stay at any other Starwood or Sheraton hotels in future.

This hotel is good for tourists transiting at Central Milan station as it is just acrross the station. However, the hotel is old, gloomy and run down. The hotel badly need a major renovation. Being a 5 star hotel, I would expect the porter to help with my bulky luggage - no help was offerred!

This is a grand, luxurious hotel with impeccable and gracious service. The location is good, being immediately next to the central train station and metro. However, with this location you also have a scruffy atmosphere and many loiterers.

It's a worthy of money deal. We were very happy to stay at this hotel through the reservation at HotelClub. It's right on the square of the central station, and just 2-3 minutes walk away, and easy access to the metro as well. The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

This is not a 5-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. The rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. The bathroom in my room had certain fixtures such as the soap holder hanging from the wall. Others were corroded and oxidized, such as the toilet flush button. The walls are paper thin ... everything could be heard two rooms away ! Not recommendable.

The hotel is old and in dire need of modernisation. The bathroom was really bad, water wouldn't drain properly from the plug hole, when taking a shower, the toilet was blocked, had to call in maintenance. However, the staff were great, very helpful. Make sure when checking in you ask for a renovated room, as the hotel is a grand old hotel which is being refurbished in stages!
