Spotless, very clean hotel. Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly. 25 mins. walk from the city centre (Duomo), but beautiful walk through Parco Sempione. Would recommend it every time. Good for business and pleasure.

This hotel is very well situated if you don't mind a short walk into the centre of town. It was a very plesant 15 minute easy walk to the Duomo. The hotel was well priced, not cheap, but a very good price for Milan. The hotel has all modern facilities and the rooms are very well appointed - comfortable beds, clean bathroom but our room was not all that clean. Help from staff on the front desk was variable. I'd still recommend it though as it was good value for the price and close to the centre of the city

Fantastic find. Very clean, beautiful hotel with an expansive buffet breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. We have paid three or four times the price in many European cities for an inferior hotel. Only downside a 10 minute walk to the centre. However we soon discovered this was to our advantage. The walk leads you through (or around) Parc Sempione & Sforzesco Castle. Quite a jaw-dropping way to spend a 10 minute walk in our opinion! Don't go Milan without booking a viewing of The Last Supper, well in advance i might add. Having viewed this masterpiece, took in a game at the San Siro, climbed the roof of Duomo cathedral and stayed at such a great hotel...we can't wait to go back.

Very helpful and friendly reception staff. Buffet breakfast very good. Our room faced onto the street however there was no noise due to 2 sets of double glazed windows. I highly recommend the Lancaster. Buy a 2 days pass that covers unlimited use of the metro, trams and buses.
