Although I've rated this hotel ok it did have a number of shortcomings. It is very close to Milan Central Station - which is convenient, but the area is a bit seedy with a fair proportion of the unfortunates you seem to find around any station. On checking in we came across an irate guest complaining that her hair straighteners had been removed from her room. The explanation being that the hotel electrics weren't up to heating appliances so the cleaning staff are under instructions to hand anything like that in. We hid our GHDs and travel kettle - and didn't use them either... The lift was tiny so don't stay here if you're claustrophobic. The room was ok with a bit of traffic noise - difficult to avoid around here... it was clean but small and the decor a bit tired. Breakfast was the usual Italian fare with hot boiled eggs as well - it was fine. Staff were fine.

Stayed for 2 nights in sep07. Very close to main stn so handy to get to/from hotel. Only 10 min walk to main cathedral + shopping area. Room was ok, breakfast was incl. + very nice. Power shower was awesome! Staff were very helpful to me + also gave us some great restaurants around a 10 min walk away from the busy area where food was cheaper but amazing. I would probably stay there again if returning to milan.

It is very close to railway station and metro, staff are nice and helpful; what's more, there is no charge for making local calls and IDD by using international telephone card while some other hotels do. Breakfast - coffee, tea, cereal, bread and yogurt; much better than other hotels in Europe at this price level.

Excellent location if travelling by train as we did. Staff was very helpful, cost reasonable and the continental breakfast included in the pricing was quite substantial and of good quality.

Being near the Central Train Station was a big plus. The airport shuttles run from the Station to both airports at a very reasonable price.

We were very pleased with the hotel for the price. As a budget hotel the rooms were furnished averagely but the beds were changed after 2 nights and the towls were changed daily. It is very conviently situated to the railway station and metro. Breakfast was average continental but service was slow for the drinks. Would stay again if going to Milan.

Well situated hotel with spacy rooms. Breakfast selection is somewhat limited, but not too bad for the price. Sadly, although a bar is in hotel, it doesn't service drinks. Staff can be a bit freindlier too. However, I would recommend it as it is a good value for money.
