Situated a few blocks from Union Square and the business district, the Steinhart Hotel is one of the establishments that best represent San Fransisco's art de vivre. The hotel was recently renovated by William Sofield, of New York's Studio Sofield. Combining original design and modern materials, he has managed to create an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and comfortable.
The hotel's 57 spacious and elegant apartments recall the glamour of residences of the 1930s and perfectly complement the building's original architecture.
