Drafty rooms, poor noise insulation, no water pressure in shower, uncomfortable beds. Great location in the heart of the Union Square shopping experience!

i was impressed by the friendly staff and large enough rooms. Being from Monterey, I didn't mind the no air conditioning but others mentioned it. one of my favorites now in San Fransisco

Has a slight old world feel about it, which I quite like. The location is very hany for centre of city and Fisherman's Wharf area but being so close to the Cable Car terminal could make it noisy at times.
