Walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Park, Pier 39, and Bus/Trolley pick-up. Right on Lombard, so you can leave by driving the twistiest residential street (four or five blocks up the hill). Breakfast was small but always ready in the AM, so you can start your day. Parking was tricky, but they'll provide free 'Valet' service to double cars up so everyone fits in. We'll use again.

Had communication problems with front desk. Ordered shuttle for airport and thought it iwas due a 830 it came at 800. Desk told them had checked out as I came in to settle bill early though hadn't left cards. Told front desk we wanted to make sure shuttle came. They did not call room to tell us it came at different time. Fridge froze water. Room clean. Easy to walk to ocean. Quiet room. Hotel older.

dreadful i got a quiet room 2x as big for less money at the buena vista motor inn on the same block. so i checked out after one night. there is much better than this.

This is a very average hotel. Its noisy and a long way from where you would want to base yourself as there are a lot of hills in san fran. There were hairs in the bed (belonging to someone else) at no extra cost.

Breakfast was VERY ordinary, take your own half-and-half if you want real milk! Wireless broadband Internet advertised, but very low signal strength we found, and it kept dropping out.
