If you want to get into the mood and feel and atmosphere of Rothenburg then this is the place to stay. Very authentic. Room was adequate and old style, beautiful view to the church right behind. I enjoyed it, first class location, probably had one of our best meals in Europe in the restaurant downstairs (the middle aged male waiter was lovely).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and although a little on the expensive side it was very good value compared to other hotels in the area. We had large interconnecting rooms. The buffet breakfast was excellent as indeed was the dinner we had one night. My only negative point is that there are no internet facilities but I think that is the same for all the hotels in the area

Delightful hotel with historic German atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is superb--right in the middle of old Rothenberg. Had a wonderful dinner on the patio. Great service and facilities--even the weather cooperated!

The staff was very accommodating. The room, a quad, was extremely nice and large, and the hotel was centrally located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Wonderful hotel. Would love to return again. Staff were very helpful. Given the heat at the time, air-conditioning was needed but not available (the only downside to a very nice hotel) Restaurant facilities also excellent.
