This is a lovely building in a superb location with fantastic views. Unfortunately however it is starting to look a little tired on the outside, but that can be forgiven as you stand on your balcony looking at one of the most stunning sunsets you will ever see. The attitude of the staff and the quality of the food in the this 4* hotel however cannot. Every question seems to be answered with a no. Meanwhile the food was very poor, even at breakfast the staff would often forget to switch on the heated trays which would mean the hot buffet would actually be stone cold. At a lower rated hotel all of this could be forgiven as the rest of the hotel and its location are superb, but unfortunately at a four star hotel the attitude of the staff and their abilities is one of the things you pay for. at the Husa Reina Victoria the human element badly let down what would otherwise have been an excellent hotel experience.

The hotel placed us in a room with sewage problems, which they tried to cover over with a pefumed deoderizer. The room stunk. Rather than fix the problem or simply close the room until the problem could be fixed, they tried to squeeze more money out of it, to the detriment of their customers. That's a big black mark for Reina Victoria Hotel.

All three of us were disappointed with breakfast. Service did not exist. Food tepid. At that price a completely self-service breakfast (making own toast, getting coffee from machine) gave a feeling of lacking value for money. No shampoo in bathroom. 'Attic' rooms rather small. Cold shower during afternoon.

A traditional Grand Hotel with pretty gardens, but all a bit tired - in need of some care and attention. Owned by a hotel group and looks it.

Lovely location-we overlooked the gorge from our room balcony. Staff very pleasant and helpful. hotel very quiet, only 20 guests. We were the only guests to have an evening meal, which was a bit odd. My only real critisism was that we could have booked the accommodation considerably cheaper dealing direct with the hotel. I usually expect to pay less when using the internet.That aside we had a really good couple of days.
