We had a pleasant stay at the Sant Angelo Hotel. The hotel is within a walking distance from the major tourist attractions in Rome. We were at the Vatican, Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and more and there was no need for bus, taxi or metro. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Sant Angelo was not at all what I expected it was not worth the price that I paid. The breakfast was bad, and the rooms were very small, and I would never go bad to the hotel again. September 2005, Canadian resident

After a long flight from Australia, this small hotel was like a little oasis in the heart of Rome. Within walking distance of most areas, trattorias and cafes abound. Very Nice and I will return if the opportunity presents itself.

Proved to be an excellent basic hotel with friendly staff. Easy access to Vatican and tourist attractions in the centre of Rome. About 40 minutes by bus from Termini Central Station. Clean towels provided daily. Rooms clean. Nice coffee with breakfast. Internet access available.

The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly which will ensure we remember this hotel as a great place to stay in Rome. Location is also excellent being between Rome centre and the Vatican area.

There was not much evidence of refurbishment in the two rooms we had. The rooms are very basic but clean. The showers are tiny and our bathroom smelt very unpleasant. The breakfast was disappointing with mainly empty containers where we assume food had once been. The staff however, are very friendly and charming.

The service personnel were very kind and helpful. It's in a good location, about a 20 minute walk to the Vatican. It's also relatively close to other tourist attractions such as Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.

I think this hotel is a really good deal. Near Vatican city and everywhere. And I have to say that reception is really great. They are so kind and helped me a lot. If I have a chance, I'll stay there again.

We booked the Sant Angelo hotel and upon arrival we were put into its sister hotel 'angel' 100yds away. Breakfast was served in Sant Angelo so in the morning we had to walk to and from both hotels. No problem but we had my wifes mother with us she is 76 if we had been told this we would have booked another hotel one with a dining area plus a lobby the 'angel, hotel was fine ,yours george mcwilliams
