Major work was being undertaken on the hotel which created noise, dust and upheaval that we were not told about beforehand. No apology was made for the inconvenience. I had both my grandchildren with me who were both wanting to use the swimming pool that was mentioned in the brothure and caused major disappointment. The breakfast room and breakfast was chaotic and not well prepared. I would not recommend it .

Hotel is right above Lepanto station (take the stairs on the right after the ticket gate) and within walking distance of the Vatican, however few stores in immediate area. Room was nicely furnished but bed had a frame which squeaked with every movement and drove us nuts. Breakfast had the usual bread, yoghurt and museli but also had 6 different types of cake, which was a little odd, would have prefered some fruit. Hotel staff were all very friendly and spoke great English. Would happily stay here again.
