Good location less than ten minutes walk from Termini station thus giving access to mainline and both Metro routes. Neighbourhood quiet however with little disturbance from street noise. Rooms functionale but with good bathroom. Plenty of reasonably priced restaurants in walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful with reasonable grasp of English. Would certainly go back.

We had a room that was in the back overlooking an area all enclosed by buildings - very quiet. The staff (on duty 24 hours) are very friendly efficient. The location is convenient to the train station and to metro (3 blocks), but not close to any major sights. The building is charming.

Very nice hotel, central position close to railway. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Amenities very good. Would stay there again.

The hotel itself is quite nice, comfortable, charming. The one very bad thing is the breakfast which is Spartan at best. Horrible coffee, some bread or croissant, processed cheese, some jams. If you want a hotel that starts you off with a wholesome breakfast, this isn't the one.

My friends and I stayed at the Montecarlo Hotel in Rome, the jacuzzi wasn't working, the water was cold, which wasnt the best to take a shower, and we went down for breakfast at 9am (the breakfast finished at 9.30) and there was no food left, couldnt even get a cup of hot coffee. Shame, as the receptionists were very welcoming.

Every thing was ok,less air conditioner.They sale with air and if you going in September has air condiotioner but we went in October and room was hot for me and my husband and don't can controler in your room,when you ask ,they say anything but never has air conditioner.When you open the window is not hot,but noise is terrible at any time.People are very nice but I think don't stay in autumun never again.

Helpful staff. Be prepared to walk about 4 blocks from Termini. Good restaurants nearby. Breakfast ok - no cut meats or cheese like you normally find in Eurpean hotels. If going to airport from the hotel, its much better to take a cab than the train to Fiumicino. Our taxi driver was Francesco - approx 67 years old - much fun (great whistler of well known tunes - ask for him!

Hotel almost completely renovated, very well done. Location at 200meters from Termini, and not in the noisy part of Rome. Very clean hotel and friendly people.

We were made very welcome on arrival and provided with a very good map of Rome and helpful guidebook. Unfortunately our bathroom plumbing was leaking over the floor. We were promised it would be fixed and although work was done it was not fixed. The next day we were moved to another room which was a little inconvenient but the staff were very helpful. This room also had a minor plumbing problem. Although the staff in this hotel were excellent and helpful I was left with an impression that it is very tightly run from a maintenance perspective. This detracts from the experience of staying in the hotel and impacts on the impression of the otherwise reasonable facilities and pricing.

We would use this hotel again. Plus points are the friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast for an Italian Hotel was good, our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Very well priced. Only downside, maybe the location as it is a bit off centre but as we used the open top buses that start at the Termini we found it very convenient.
