Quote price in reservation not honoured by hotel as they stated that they did not have a single and therefore would provide a double at a double price. Hotel advertised to have air conditioning however was turned off and when asked to turn it on did not follow up as promised. Hotel was not the Mirage but another hotel on the 5th floor (with no elevator) with room facing a square squalid alcove of other buildings. TV did not work and no remote provided. Very disappointed with the property given the 100e price per night.

We stayed here one night and chose the hotel given its proximity to the train station. the location to the train station was the only upside to this hotel. The room was filthy. There were foot prints on the walls and the bathroom smelled like mold. AC did not work and given it was August we had to leave the windows open to get some air. Due to the windows being opened we could clearly hear the homeless people screaming for several hours during the night (i.e. 2400 - 0300 or so). The hotel would not allow me to pay for one room with a credit card even though they accept them and i had to pay put both rooms (i.e. mine and my wifes and our friends) on the credit card - apparently there is a minimum charge which is no advertised. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. We paid EUR 65 per room, which is a good rate for Rome but given the neighborhood (which was very shady) and the condition of the hotel, I would have preferred to pay another 20 Euros for a decent place. I will never stay there again.

I only stayed a night, as I was travelling through Rome, so it is hard to judge. However, the experience was pleasant and the staff friendly. The Hotel is located right next to to the Termini train station. Thus, it is ideal for anyone travelling and for Rome, which can be expensive, the rooms are fairly priced. Communication with the Hotel was excellent, despite my lack of working Italian. Certainly if I found myself in similar circumstances I would reserve again.

Rooms are very clean and spacious. It is excelently located, one block from the train and bus station. The only problem was that, once there, the lady at the front desk didn't want to charge with credit card and she got a little rude. Finally, we paid with credit card, but after a very long and bitter discussion.

the hotel from hell the worst experience...our room overlooked the train station, bums, tour busses, police activity all hours, a/c didn't work and couldn't open a window due to the moths attracted to the lights of the train station. lift was constantly hung-up, being on the upper floor and a industrial laundry below us and tourists leaving the door open.hotel changed our room to overlook a side street with only ten bums living there. go to the other side of the train station cafes,and less traffic. dennis,jack,bob

the staff at reception made it clear that they would prefer cash as payment at checkout but they did accept credit card after a small delay. they knew we were going to the airport by train next day from very nearby main Rome train station (cost 11euros per person) and they offered a private taxi for 40 euros .. thought this rather strange..unless there is a strike, the rails do not get congested like Roman roads, so why even bother asking .. unless they thought we had no idea as to the train ticket costs...breakfast was one of the most basic we had on our two weeks in Italy...but for travellers like us on our final day in Italy and arriving by train and leaving by train to airport next day, the location was superb even though late at night one feels a bit uncomfortable with the nightpeople out and about..take care of papers and valuables in this area any time but esp. at night.
