Beautiful hotel in mostly quiet surroundings. Jr Suites were spacious and actually nicer that those depicted in photos. Staff was knowledgeable and courteous. Common areas were clean and beautifully decorated. Small size made it feel cozy and quiet. Breakfast provided was varied and of high quality. Eggs were cooked to order and there was a large variety of fruit and pastries. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotel provided a Saturday cocktail party at no cost with high quality drinks and food. As previously stated would recommend that those who are not up to the strong european coffee take coffee or tea from home which can be prepared in our room. Hotel is one block from Via Veneto, a major thoroughfare to steps but vehicle access is by one one-way street. Recommend you study the location or take advantage of the limo offered by the hotel, just in case you get an inexperienced cab driver as we did. Excellent location close to cab stands, metro, train station (although probably not walking distance with much luggage). Would highly recommend this hotel.

Very large room (we paid for the junior suite) but we thought we were getting a balcony or terrace and didn't. Breakfast was included and was large and had made-to-order eggs. Service was very good at breakfast. Service was hit and miss at front desk - we asked for a restaurant that was anything but Italian food and we got a blank stare and a suggestion of Hard Rock Cafe, which we would never go to. Location is near multiple strip clubs, which we did not realize. Although our room was facing the street, it was quiet. The room and furniture was all very old and tired. There was either mold or serious paint problems in the ceiling of our bathroom. The spaciousness of the room made up for some of the problems though. Air conditioning worked very well. Still felt over-priced for the quality.

staff was nice. The room is average, but the shower was in a weird position. We had 1 bed reserved, but it turned out to be two twins pushed together, each with their own blankets, which was a little uncomfortable. The towels were thin and not very soft. We loved the location. It's on a quiet side street and very close to Piazza Barberini and lots of sidewalk restaurants and several tour buses stop nearby. Trevi Fountain and Villa Borghese are in easy walking distance. Breakfast was good. They had fried eggs, bacon, beans, toast, cheese, and lots of fruit and juices.

Hotel staff was fantastic. Very friendly and accomodating (not everyone in Italy was). The surrounding area was very clean and safe with lots of good restaurants. We walked to all of the sites from the hotel - about 10 minutes to Spanish Steps and 15 to Trevi Fountain/Piazza Navona area.

So close to Via Venato , Loved it, Staff to be commended, most helpful and approachable. Breakfast without doubt the best of our entire trip. Would recommend this to anyone looking to receive the best service at a great hotel in a great location.

We definitely felt we were at home away from home at the Residenza. Beautifully decorated, clean and welcoming accommodations. The staff was friendly and most helpful. The clocation was within walking distance of major attractions and shopping. We felt very secure in the area, even walking at night. Breakfast was a delicious full service buffet with everything you could ask for. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Residenza. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room met our needs, and the breakfast was great. The location is very good. It's just set back from Via Veneto so there's easy access, but the hotel is quiet. It's an easy walk to all the main sights in the city. I would stay here again.

The location is excellent, especially if you are used to walking. We went everywhere on foot - the Vatican, the Forum, Trastevere. Don't miss the Villa Borghese, a lovely park just a few blocks away. We felt completely safe and comfortable in the hotel's neighborhood. The staff steered us to nearby restaurants with excellent food and reasonable prices. Be forewarned that Rome prices are higher than those in the parts of the country that are less mobbed by tourists - and Rome is definitely mobbed.

All together a very positive experience for the five of us. However, our registration was cancelled by a mistake before we arrived (luckily it was sorted out), we did not get rooms on the same floor, and the coffee served at breakfast was cold and not very good.
